Why Choose Screen Printing?

Because you need a larger quantity of shirts with a long-lasting vibrant imprint. Screen printing is the most versatile of all the apparel printing methods. It is most often used for large volume printing because it is economical and consistent. The setup process can be labor intensive. As such, this is not generally a good option for small-volume orders.

MINIMUM QUANTITY

The minimum number of garments we print with this process is twelve.

PRODUCTION SPEED

Average production speed is two weeks or less. Large volume orders or peak seasons may require more time.

COST FACTORS

Buying a higher number of garments makes the price go down. Adding more colors to your design makes the price go up.

IMAGE LAYOUT

Standard adult imprint size is 11.5" wide x 13" high. However, items such as pockets, zippers and laces may reduce that size.

FINISHING TOUCH

Standard screen printing feels like soft, thin, stretchy rubber. When you stretch the print, it flexes with the garment.

CARE GUIDE

Standard inks do not require special washing instructions. For metallic or glitter inks, we suggest laundering inside-out.

FEATURED SCREEN PRINTING SPECIAL

The minimum order for screen printing is 12 items. Occasionally we will print less but it is usually better to switch to digital printing if you have less than twelve. Although it is not impossible to screen print just one shirt (or less than our standard of twelve shirts) , the setup fees make it cost prohibitive for most consumers.
The cost is dependent on many variables: the number of colors in your design, the number of imprint locations, garment color, fabric content and overall quantity. The variables that affect print cost the most are:
1. The quantity of garments being ordered and
2. The number of colors in the design being printed.
Each location you would like to print requires additional time and setups. However, the cost of printing an additional location is usually quite inexpensive. If you are interested in printing more than one location, it's worth checking into. However, if you are trying to stick to a tight budget, we recommend reducing the number of print locations to just one position.
We only require a deposit of half down at the time you place your order and the balance isn't due until the order is finished. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express so if you've already received a quote from us, you could call in your payment over the phone. Super simple!
To find out more about our preferred file types, please view our artwork specifications page. If you do not have artwork in the preferred formats, don't worry; we can redraw whatever you need even if you drew the concept on a napkin.
Sure. Let's say you have a family reunion where one family should be in green shirts and the other family should be in blue shirts but they will all have the same screen print design on the front. We can do that as long as it is the same design and ink color on all of the shirts. If you decide to change the ink color for the second group of shirts, there is a nominal Ink Change Fee.
Yes! We will take your final design and add it to a digital simulation of your garment so you can make sure everything is just right before we even start.

Creative Stock Fonts:
Make your design or logo come alive.

The font you choose for your design will convey a feeling about your message as much as the logo itself. Unified colors and fonts come together to deliver a clear message. Mismatched fonts convey confusion, or even worse, the wrong message to your audience. Our graphic design team will guide you in the right direction if you lose your way.
